    365 Days Of Love

Disclaimer: Quite a soppy, romantic post follows. You have officially been warned.

This story begins last Christmas when my Nan bought me a tiny little diary as a present(God knows why... I expect she got it for free with a newspaper). But regardless, I was stuck for ideas with what to actually use the diary for. With our modern day technology, my iPhone Calender treats me quite nicely so I would have never actually used it to write down dates as is intended. So I instead decided to treat it as a future gift for my other half and best friend, Gaz, by jotting down short funny descriptions, anecdotes and doodles every day of 2014. Thus by the end of the year he would be able to look back at everything we got up to in the first whole year of our relationship.
He will inevitably read this post so I do not want to spoil too much for him but I thought I would share a favourite anecdote or two (excluding any really personal ones) below.

    • January - "I helped out a stranger in the toilets by drying her trousers for her and it turned out to be a girl in your Psychology class and she told the entire class about it, saying how lovely I was."
    • January - "You poked me in the eye and my contact lens fell out - you also pulled my seat away as I went to jump on it and I hurt my knee."
    • February - "We watched X-Hose adverts and Jeremy Kyle at 4 in the morning (replacing the word "hose" with "penis") because I was throwing up all night from food poisoning."
    • April - "Mani from The Stone Roses just passed us #claim2fame"
    • June - "Evan accidentally pushed me over onto concrete and slapped me across the face at Bethany's party and then I accidentally walked in on him peeing."
    • July - "We skived college because we're so rebellious and played Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart all day."
    • October - "That night I was literally sat on the phone to you manically laughing my head off at midnight."
I decided to post this a little earlier than the New Year simply in case any of you wanted to try it in 2015 either for a partner, friend or family member and wanted to buy a diary/notebook in advance. Have any of you done anything similar before? I think it is the most delightful little handmade gift that someone would treasure forever!
