I apologise for how late this gift guide is (in relation to Christmas) but if, like me, you are yet to purchase any presents then perhaps this may help you - or you may even see something you like and wish to treat yourself with! It is undeniable that I am slightly biased when creating this gift guide as these are all items which I would LOVE to receive (I think this is secretly a wish list for me as opposed to anything else). I have divided them into subcategories with expensive and inexpensive gifts split to accommodate for your price range. Hope this helps! For the bookworm

Postcards from Penguin - £10.49
Here features a box of 100 "quintessentially British" postcards of Penguin Classic covers - use for design/decorating or like their name suggests, as postcards!
Book Necklaces - £8.51
I think literature jewellery is just the sweetest thing - my friend owns a Picture of Dorian Gray ring from Etsy and it is just the best! Here I have found someone who sells relatively cheap necklaces of classic book covers.

A Folio Society Book - ~£35.00 average
For Gaz's 19th birthday I bought him the most beautiful edition of J. R. R. Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion' from The Folio Society as he is a big fan of The Lord of the Rings. I think we were both a little gobsmacked by the beauty of the book. Although the books are expensive, I can assure you that, as a one off, you will not regret buying one! The books were wrapped gorgeously and postage was quick, and so I can happily say that they are a lovely company whom I am very fond of.
A homemade mix CD or (as inspired by Oh Comely's Perfect Strangers Project) a "Modern Day Message In A Bottle" whereby you put your playlist on a memory stick which will then go into a small spice jar! - £0.00
Let's be honest here, nothing beats a good, personalised, authentic homemade gift from the heart - let that person know you are really thinking of them by taking the time to create a playlist of songs that remind you of memories together or songs you just know they will love.
A record player (accompanied by vinyls, of course!) - £39.99
Again, I bought Gaz a record player for his birthday(the one linked above) as his family own many records but no longer have anything to play them on. This one went down a treat - very inexpensive and excellent standard for the cost! I would say it is pretty good sound quality if you are simply playing old records but fantastic sound quality if the records are recent. I also bought Gaz a second-hand 7 inch single of Buzzcock's 'Ever Fallen In Love' for a quid on eBay - not too shabby.

This gift set is without a doubt on the expensive end of the scale but it is so utterly fantastic that I could not help but include it. Filled with 21 exciting different products (of your choice), ranging from shower gel to shampoo to lip balm to dusting powder, your recipient is bound to be nothing but impressed.
