    #StudentTravel15

It is no secret that Europe is filled with all kinds of grungy authentic goodness, But Berlin undoubtedly takes the crown for the 'hipster' capital. The city fuses history, art, culture and a vibrant nightlife into a confusing yet strangely appealing blend where there is something to be found for everyone. It is difficult not to fall victim to the attraction of this alluring city.
If you are looking for something off the beaten track, far away from the shiny western tourist attractions, follow this guide - it's time to travel like a local.

Hi guys! Just a quick message to say I wrote my first article for TheNationalStudent.com on Germany's capital, Berlin, a few weeks ago and thought I might as well promote it on here as I'm sure some of you may like to read it (linked above) and may not follow me on social media. I threw in some elements of the article on here for your pleasure and good measure (rhyming rocks!) Writing for someone else made me realise how entirely happy and comfortable I feel writing on my blog and how scary and daunting the prospect of writing for other magazines and businesses is! I feel like a tiny little girl drowning in a huge competitive pond. Here I can just easily swear and say things like "Rhyming rocks!" as aforementioned. And 'balls'. *Phew* I'm glad I got that off my chest. But apparently the inability to say 'balls' does not stop my high aspirations and optimism. At the end of the day you've got to go for every opportunity that life throws at you, you never know what might happen! So that's what I did. I entered the #StudentTravel15 competition at the lovely TheNationalStudent.com. If you'd like to read my article over there then please do, it would make my day! If not, go check out the other entries regardless because they are all really fab. It is such an incredible opportunity to be a part of and amazingly fun as well, I feel very grateful and just wish I had more time to write more articles for the competition but college must always come first. Love to you all, I hope exams are going well for all those whose lives are currently dominated by them - we're nearly there, gang! I have done 8 exams as of late and have 3 left - I'm just 4 short days away from freedom and I cannot wait to get back into the blogging world.
